A look behind the preseason curtain

Preseason is the time that all the hard work is done to ensure the summer of 2015 goes smoothly for your West Raleigh 10U Blue All-Stars. It's an arduous process, requiring the immense combined brainpower of Coach Sean, Coach Kevin and Coach Fred. (They usually don't mention anything to Coach Adam until it's already decided because they don't really care what he thinks.)

With their collective wisdom, very important decisions are made and futures are altered. This year on the blog, we wanted to give you a glimpse of how some of those decisions happen. For example, uniforms. This is one of the most talked-about decisions of the entire summer. Coach Kevin began thinking about this year's uniforms in August of 2014. He has visited textile factories to secure the best materials and has consulted with some of the world's foremost fashion consultants, most specifically, GM Jennifer.

As the coaches always tell the kids, great preparation leads to great results. And here you see, for the first time anywhere, the great preparation that leads to the uniforms your WR 10U Blue team will wear this year. I hesitate to reveal so much of the uniforms this early, but I feel like great artistry needs to be appreciated:
